This painting was a milestone because it’s the first one that I created after moving to Amsterdam (from India)
I call this ‘Branch out’ because moving to a new country, living a new life here with all new experiences and looking at things with a totally new perspective-all of this has been very special (and a tad bit overwhelming ).
It does feel like I am branching out from what I was used to and opening up myself to change and fresh opportunities .I honestly feel like some parts of my personality are taking a rebirth and this painting reflects that in its colour palette and a lot of the little details.
